Whether you’re using a physical, virtual, or containerized firewall, HPE delivers comprehensive visibility from edge to cloud; the cSRX adds visibility into securing applications that run in your containers. You can deploy security policies that limit access to specific applications, while intrusion prevention protects applications not easily patched. To safeguard applications from east-west traffic, the cSRX limits traffic between container segments using Layer 4–7 security policies.

The Juniper vSRX Virtual Firewall offers the same rich feature set as our physical SRX series Firewalls in a virtualized form factor. It supports next-generation firewall (NGFW) capabilities, networking, and automated lifecycle management. Security services scale to match network demand, operating at speeds up to 200 Gbps.

The vSRX supports Contrail Networking™ and third-party software-defined networking (SDN) solutions. It also integrates with cloud orchestration tools such as OpenStack.
