The HPE Storage MSL6480 Tape Library delivers cost-efficient density with 13 cartridge slots - or 600 TB (using LTO-9 tapes and 2.5:1 compression) - per 1U of rack space, scaling from 80 to 560 slots in a single expandable library, eliminating costly replacements as your requirements grow.

Advanced Security Features

In-library air-gap protection with MSL vault partition, isolating media without removing cartridges from the tape library, or create a physical air gap by removing the media from the library.

New multi-factor authentication (MFA) support adds an extra layer of protection for secure library management.
