HPE Installation and Startup for BladeSystem c-Class Infrastructure
HPE Installation and Startup Service for HPE BladeSystem Infrastructure is a fixed-price, fixed-scope installation and startup service that provides for the installation of HPE BladeSystem configurations, limited to one HPE BladeSystem enclosure, and certain eligible HPE ProLiant and Integrity server blades, HPE ProLiant workstation blades, HPE storage blades, HPE Virtual Connect modules (Ethernet and Fibre Channel), and Ethernet and InfiniBand network interconnects, as well as installation and configuration of either HPE Insight Control software or HPE OneView virtual appliance for the BladeSystem c7000 enclosure, or HPE Insight Control for the BladeSystem c3000 enclosure. HPE OneView or HPE Insight Control installation and configuration will be limited to the specific supported products and subject to the limitations detailed in this data sheet.
Note: Insight Control does not support Gen10 servers.
This fixed-price/fixed-scope service is designed to target new HPE BladeSystem hardware and software deployments. For more advanced installation, configuration, and integration requirements, custom deployments are available through a mutually agreed-upon Statement of Work (SOW) based upon your specific requirements.
HPE Installation and Startup Primera 600 4N Base SVC
Designed to provide a smooth startup, HPE Primera Base Software Installation and Startup Service provides deployment of your HPE Primera storage software. It helps to ensure proper installation in your storage environment and increase the benefit from your storage investment.
Complementing your new HPE Primera Base software, HPE Primera Base Software Installation and Startup Service provides the necessary activities required to help you deploy Dynamic Optimization, Priority Optimization, System Reporter, Virtual Copy, and provide an overview of Virtual Domains and Virtual Lock. With the assistance of your designated IT storage administrator, an HPE service specialist deploys your HPE Primera Base software as more fully described in the Service features table.
Deployment of Remote Copy, Peer Persistence, Peer Motion, Cluster Extension, Online Import, Recovery Manager Central, and Smart SAN for HPE Primera products are excluded from this service.
Separate services are available (for details see Notes in the Ordering information section).
For HPE Primera Virtual Copy, this service provides a limited implementation to help you get Virtual Copy up and running quickly and to provide a demonstration of the product’s key features using sample or test data only. The following advanced deliverables are excluded from this service but are available via the HPE Data Replication Solution Service for HPE Primera Virtual Copy software:
• Implementation and testing of the HPE Primera Virtual Copy software configuration using production volumes or a production application
• Other services that address the unique requirements of your organization, such as verification of multiple applications you have configured; scripting; or integration and configuration of your applications by Hewlett Packard Enterprise, backup environment, or databases (scripting can help enable integration and end-to-end automation within your organization’s environment)
This service is applicable only for supported environments. Refer to additional exclusions in the Service limitations section.

HPE M-series with Cumulus NOS Startup Service
The HPE M-series Ethernet Switches Installation and Startup Service pertains to the use of a HPE M-series Ethernet Switch in a storage fabric environment or as an Ethernet top-of-rack (ToR) switch. This service includes an HPE service specialist to complete hardware installation and configuration for the device as well as specific verifications to ensure the most optimal functionality of the product. Certain storage paths, lossless flow control policy based on Data Center Bridging Capability Exchange (DCBX) and/or Ethernet flow control, and connectivity products are among the covered specifications within this service.
HPE Installation and Startup 3PAR 8000 Expansion Rack Factory Integrated Service
Designed to provide a smooth startup, HPE 3PAR StoreServ 8000, 9000, and 20000 Storage Installation and Startup Service provides deployment of your HPE 3PAR StoreServ 8000, 9000, and 20000 Storage, helping to ensure proper installation in your storage environment as well as helping you increase the benefit from your storage investment.
The service provides activities required to help you deploy your HPE 3PAR StoreServ 8000, 9000, and 20000 Storage into operation. With the assistance of your designated IT storage administrator, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise service specialist deploys your array as more fully described in the Service features table.
When ordered with hardware upgrade products, the service also provides deployment of hardware upgrades to your existing HPE 3PAR StoreServ 8000, 9000, and 20000 Storage.
The service includes the following:
For new arrays, configuration and presentation of a test virtual volume using nonproduction data for up to two hosts
For array upgrades, installation and configuration of the array upgrade products as further detailed in the following sections
Reconfiguration of your existing array—for example, virtual volumes, hosts, or a SAN—is outside the scope of this service.
For installation of the array into a rack, supply, assembly, configuration, and positioning of the rack are excluded from this service. Please refer to additional exclusions in the Service limitations section.
HPE Installation and Startup Apollo 20 SVC
HPE Apollo Installation and Startup provides for the installation of your new eligible HPE Apollo system, along with the installation of one eligible operating system (or verification of one factory installed operating system) and the basic configuration of the operating system network parameters to establish network connectivity as more fully described below. This service is designed to assist you in bringing your new HPE Apollo System and operating system into operation in a timely and professional manner.
HPE Installation and Startup for ProCurve Chassis Switch
HPE Installation and Startup Service for HPE network switching products coordinates the installation, configuration, and verification and is designed to get your new HPE networking device quickly up and running and connected to your network infrastructure.
This service is available for select HPE network switching products. With this service, you will also receive a brief orientation session on the product features installed.
The device configuration, final verification tests and orientation session for this service are delivered remotely. On-site delivery of these items may be available in some geographic locations and may result in additional charges. Please contact your local HPE
representative for details. Please also refer to the Service Limitations section below for more details.
HPE Installation and Startup for HPE Networking Stackable Switch
HPE Installation Service provides for the basic installation of Hewlett Packard Enterprise branded equipment, software products, as well as HPE-supported products from other vendors that are sold by HPE or by HPE authorized resellers. The Installation Service is part of a suite of HPE deployment services that are designed to give you the peace of mind that comes from knowing your HPE and HPE-supported products have been installed by a Hewlett Packard Enterprise specialist in accordance with the manufacturer’s product documentation.
HPE Installation and Startup for HPE Networking Chassis Switch
HPE Installation Service provides for the basic installation of Hewlett Packard Enterprise branded equipment, software products, as well as HPE-supported products from other vendors that are sold by HPE or by HPE authorized resellers. The Installation Service is part of a suite of HPE deployment services that are designed to give you the peace of mind that comes from knowing your HPE and HPE-supported products have been installed by a Hewlett Packard Enterprise specialist in accordance with the manufacturer’s product documentation.
