The Moonshot-180G Switch Module communicates with the external network through a Moonshot-4QSFP+ Uplink Module to deliver higher I/O performance with reduced oversubscription. The Moonshot-180G Switch Module provides sFlow and standard SNMP MIBs support for detailed switch statistics and telemetry. Instrumented for Quality of Service, license keys are not required for manageability features.

HPE Moonshot Provisioning Manager
An intuitive, scalable, and easy-to-access tool to help IT administrators deploy and manage HPE Moonshot Systems, the HPE Moonshot Provisioning Manager distributed as a virtual machine image (VMware .ova file and Microsoft Hyper-v .vhd file compatible), provides the user with a simple graphical interface enabling an “at-a-glance” view of all the available nodes within one or more Moonshot Systems, allowing the ability to efficiently deploy operating systems to any available nodes.
In addition, the HPE Moonshot Provisioning Manager provides the user with a basic step-by-step network configuration guidance (note: this virtual machine image is a full network installation system, and will provide Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) services on the connected network. HPE highly encourages this virtual machine be installed and configured on a properly isolated network containing only the VM and the Moonshot Chassis).
HPE Moonshot Remote Console Administrator
The HPE Moonshot Remote Console Administrator (mRCA) allows users to have access to keyboard, video monitors and a mouse in a headless environment. It will enable users to remote console (on a node per node basis) for the initial golden OS image installation (Windows or Linux) assistance, virtual media functionality for mounting an image to boot, and in addition the mRCA can be used as debug/crash tool.
The remote console features of the HPE Moonshot Remote Console Administrator (mRCA) allows an administrator to interface with the HPE Moonshot Server Cartridge (at a node level) and one can share the local inputs from keyboard and mouse as well as video output.
