Efficient High-performance Compute Solution to Optimize Workloads

The HPE ProLiant XL260a Gen9 Server supports one Intel® Xeon® Phi series processor, with up to 72 cores and on-board 16 GB MC-DRAM memory for improved bandwidth for demanding enterprise performance and integrated fabric for improved TCO.

Each tray has six (6) DIMM slots for 2400 (384 GB maximum) MT/s, and supports up to four (4) hot-plug front-accessible hard drives with SATA and M.2 options.

The HPE Apollo 6000 Chassis innovation zone supports 1GbE, 10GbE, InfiniBand (EDR 100GbE)/Omni-Path (OPA 100GbE) to fit workload needs while lowering solution TCO.

Modular Shared Infrastructure Delivers Rack-scale Efficiency

The HPE ProLiant XL260a Gen9 Server delivers the flexibility to mix and match single and double slot server trays, including HPE ProLiant XL250a Gen9 Servers with accelerators, HPE ProLiant XL230a Gen9 Servers in a single HPE Apollo a6000 Chassis.

The HPE Apollo 6000 Power Shelf utilizes proven HPE BladeSystem high-efficiency power modules. Optionally, the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Advanced Power Manager dynamically monitors and manages power to increase rack-level efficiency and redundancy for your workloads.

Front serviceable server trays in a standard rack-mount chassis make maintenance both quick and easy.

Single HPE Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) port for simplified rack-level cabling, location mapping and consolidated management.

Unlock Infrastructure Potential with Built-in Gen9 Technologies

The HPE ProLiant XL260a Gen9 Server supports HPE DDR4 SmartMemory, reducing data loss and downtime with enhanced error handling, while also improving workload performance and power efficiency.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise SmartDrive technology improves serviceability and prevents data loss with features such as icon based status display.

The Hewlett Packard Enterprise Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) Management includes Remote Support to reduce IT staff involvement.

Optimize firmware and driver updates and reduce downtime with HPE Smart Update, consisting of HPE Smart Update Manager (SUM) and HPE Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP).

Each HPE ProLiant XL260a Gen9 Server has a dedicated iLO connection for faster and more enterprise level security data transmission.
