HPE Firmware Update Implementation Service is a technical service that provides the implementation of firmware updates for selected HPE server, storage, and solution products, taking into account the relevant revision dependencies within your IT environment. For selected storage products, this service provides operating system update implementation and an option for on-site delivery assistance.

The Firmware Update Implementation Service is sold in blocks representing deliverables of work on a per product basis. Multiple quantities of the Firmware Update Implementation Service product numbers may be required to complete a firmware update implementation engagement for the selected product.
Your HPE sales representative will work with you to determine the quantities of service product numbers recommended for your HPE product(s). HPE will perform the services for the selected product(s) based upon the service features specified below. Additional quantities of the Firmware Update Implementation Service product numbers may be required to complete a firmware update implementation engagement for the selected product.
Firmware updates to HPE server, storage, and solution products are required periodically and are intended to help prevent issues caused by known problems and obtain product enhancements. HPE specialized technical resources can perform these updates, working with you to determine scheduling and implementation of them with the goal to minimize disruption to your IT environment. This service does not include the firmware updates or the right to any firmware updates. Customer must have rightfully acquired the updates in order to receive these services. Such updates may require an active support agreement, or the Customer may need to purchase them through additional support contracts.
This service does not include a compatibility analysis of firmware and software revisions within the IT environment. This is available from HPE as a separate service engagement for an additional fee, if necessary.

HPE HPN Firmware Updates Analysis Service 1 year
HPE Firmware Update Analysis Service provides recommendations for firmware revision levels for selected HPE servers, storage products, network devices, and solutions, taking into account the relevant revision dependencies within your IT environment.
This service is sold as a block of four (4) hours of HPE Firmware Update Analysis Service work on a per-product basis. Your Hewlett Packard Enterprise sales representative will work with you to estimate the quantity of service product numbers recommended for your HPE product(s). HPE will perform service for the selected product based up the service features described in this document and will work toward the provision of them up to a maximum of four (4) hours. Additional service hours may be required to complete a firmware update analysis engagement for the selected product.
Maintaining current firmware revisions of HPE products can provide you with enhancements and help you avoid known problems. However, determining the correct firmware revisions and evaluating compatibility with other software and hardware within the IT infrastructure can be a complex process. Hewlett Packard Enterprise service specialists will help you evaluate the compatibility of certain selected non-HPE products with the HPE firmware product for which these service are purchased, and will work with you to help determine the appropriate HPE firmware updates needed. Please contact HPE for further information regarding the list of selected non-HPE products that may be evaluated as part of this service.
This service does not include firmware updates or the right to any firmware updates. Recommendations do not mean that such updates are available to customers, even if they are under a current support agreement with HPE. Customers may still need to purchase additional support contracts for recommended products. This service does not include the right to any updates. HPE Startup of Linux Server O/S
HPE Installation and Startup Service for Linux Operating Systems is available as two service packages. Package 1 is a fixed-price, fixed-content service, while Package 2 is available as a custom-quoted service based on a Statement of Work (SOW).
Package 1 includes the onsite installation, configuration, and startup activities in support of the Linux distributions identified under 'Service eligibility,' delivered on one supported HPE ProLiant server platform. This service will provide for the installation of the Linux operating system (OS) and TCP/IP network protocol, as well as for their integration into your network environment, including network interface card (NIC) configuration and basic orientation on product usage.
Package 2 may include any or all of the service deliverables included in Package 1 as well as more complex deliverables.
Deliverables, such as a Sendmail or Postfix configuration, DNS configuration of network applications, application configuration, cluster configuration, installation or configuration of high-availability clustering products (e.g., HPE Serviceguard), and installation or configuration of Kickstart (SUSE remote/automated installation utilities). The actual work to be performed in Package 2 will be identified in an SOW.
HPE Installation and Startup 3PAR 8K All inclusive Sngle System Service
Designed to provide a smooth startup, HPE 3PAR All-inclusive Single-system StoreServ Software Installation and Startup Service provides deployment of your HPE 3PAR storage software, helping to ensure proper installation in your storage environment as well as helping you increase the benefit from your storage investment.
Complementing your new HPE 3PAR All-inclusive Single-system software, HPE 3PAR All-inclusive Single-system Software Installation and Startup Service provides the necessary activities required to help you deploy Adaptive Optimization, Dynamic Optimization, File Persona, Priority Optimization, System Reporter, Virtual Copy, and provide an overview of Virtual Domains and Virtual Lock. With the assistance of your designated IT storage administrator, an HPE service specialist deploys your HPE 3PAR All-inclusive Single-system software as more fully described in the Service feature table.
Deployment of HPE Application Suite, Online Import, Recovery Manager Central, and Smart SAN for 3PAR products are excluded from this service. Separate services are available.
For HPE 3PAR Virtual Copy, this service provides a limited implementation to help you get Virtual Copy up and running quickly and to provide a demonstration of the product’s key features using sample or test data only. The following advanced deliverables are excluded from this service but are available via the HPE Data Replication Solution Service for HPE 3PAR Virtual Copy software:
• Implementation and testing of the HPE 3PAR Virtual Copy software configuration using production volumes or a production application
• Other services that address the unique requirements of your organization, such as verification of multiple applications you have configured; scripting; or integration and configuration of your applications by Hewlett Packard Enterprise, backup environment, or databases (Scripting can help enable integration and end-to-end automation within your organization’s environment.)
This service is applicable only for supported environments. Please refer to additional exclusions in the Service limitations section.
HPE Install and Startup 3PAR 8K MultiSys Peer Motion Peer Persistence Rem Copy Svc
HPE 3PAR All-inclusive Multi-system Software Installation and Startup Service provides a limited implementation of the HPE 3PAR Remote Copy, Peer Motion, and Peer Persistence components of HPE 3PAR All-inclusive Multi-system Software. HPE 3PAR All-inclusive Multi-system Software is designed to provide enhanced availability and disaster recovery protection.
To help ensure a timely, cost-effective deployment that can help you to reduce risk and shorten your time to results, Hewlett Packard Enterprise service professionals efficiently handle your implementation tasks.
The service, which provides installation and startup for the HPE 3PAR Remote Copy, Peer Motion, and Peer Persistence functionality of HPE 3PAR All-inclusive Multi-system Software in your storage environment, is designed to help you get HPE 3PAR All-inclusive Multi-system Software up and running quickly and to provide a demonstration of the product’s key features using sample or test data only.
This service excludes implementation of the HPE Cluster Extension Software component of the HPE 3PAR All-inclusive Multi-system Software product, which provides host cluster failover. Deployment of the Cluster Extension software component is provided by ordering HPE Cluster Extension Solution Implementation Service (see publication 4AA1-2456ENN).
The following are excluded from this service but are available via the HPE Data Replication Solution Service for HPE 3PAR Remote Copy and Peer Persistence software:
• Implementation and testing of the HPE 3PAR Remote Copy and Peer Persistence software configuration using production volumes or a production application

Complementing your new HPE StoreOnce Recovery Manager Central storage software, HPE StoreOnce Recovery Manager Central Software
Installation and Startup Service provides a set of features associated with deployment of your licensed HPE StoreOnce Recovery Manager
Central software products into operation. With the assistance of your designated IT storage administrator, an HPE service specialist deploys
your HPE StoreOnce Recovery Manager Central software as more fully described in this document.
This is a one-day service and provides a limited implementation to help you get HPE Recovery Manager Central Software up and running quickly and to provide a demonstration of the product’s key features using sample or test data only.
This service is applicable only to supported environments. Scripting is not within the scope of the service, but can be accommodated at additional charge (scripting can help enable integration and end-to-end automation within your organization’s environment).
HPE VMware vSphere Ops Manager Startup SVC (per event)
HPE Installation and Startup Service for VMware vSphere with Operations Management provides a pre-installation session with a Hewlett Packard Enterprise service specialist, installation and basic configuration of VMware vSphere with Operations Management, and an orientation session to help familiarize your organization with the product’s functionality.
To help you match your deployment needs with VMware vSphere with Operations Management software, HPE Installation and Startup Service for VMware vSphere with Operations Management is available in the following packages:
• Package 1 - VMware vSphere with Operations Management (vSOM) Enterprise Plus
• Package 2 - HPE Custom ESS SW Deployment SVC – Statement of
Work-based service that may include environment assessments, virtualization consulting, or custom installation and startup beyond what is included in Package 1.
