HPE Solutions for CTERA
Are you faced with providing users fast, secure access to the corporate file system from wherever they’re working?
Like many dispersed organizations, are you considering combining NAS and IT footprint as your organization shifts from corporate sites to branch and remote offices?
CTERA and Hewlett Packard Enterprise partner to enable centralized data access from any edge location or device without compromising performance or security. The joint CTERA and HPE platform is the only solution to unify file infrastructure across headquarters, branch, and home.
The integration of CTERA’s cloud-native file storage platform and HPE infrastructure provides high-performance primary file storage, backup/disaster recovery, multisite file collaboration and edge caching, all for up to 70% less than traditional NAS and file storage.
The joint solution enables global file system access through edge filers (physical and virtual), laptop and mobile apps, and HPE’s hyper converged infrastructure.
HPE Solutions for Weka
Are your life sciences, financial services, and artificial intelligent (AI) compute workloads bottlenecked by slow storage performance? HPE Solutions for Weka is a scalable data platform that is ideal for performance-intensive workloads. The Weka Limitless Data Platform is built on WekaFS, a flash-native, POSIX file system that delivers the high IOPS and low-latency throughput needed for demanding compute requirements. The platform provides policy-based tiering, so data can span from NVMe flash to object storage in a single namespace for easy management and cost-effective economics. It supports industry-standard S3 interface that allows integration with on-premises and cloud environments. For performance-intensive workloads such as AI, machine learning, deep learning, data analytics, life sciences, and financial modeling, the Weka Limitless Data Platform employs an innovative storage architecture to provide performance at exabyte scale to solve today’s biggest data-intensive problems.
StorMagic
How can I simplify the complex storage deployments at my edge data centers?
StorMagic, paired with HPE ProLiant, HPE Apollo or HPE Edgline servers, provides a virtual SAN for edge computing that is a lightweight alternative to overly complex storage deployments. The two-server solution is designed for large companies running small edge datacenters that require rugged, small footprint, highly available, simple, cost-effective, and flexible local storage.
StorMagic SvSAN removes the need for a physical SAN in some of the world’s most demanding environments by converting the disk, flash, and memory of two servers into a virtual SAN.
Typical distributed IT operations using StorMagic are retail stores, factories, warehouses, wind farms, or oil rigs. In these deployments, SvSAN enables small hyperconverged clusters with a differentiated level of simplicity and affordability.
Vertica
Is your aging data warehouse system slowing you down? Are you struggling to derive timely insights from the massive volumes of data entering your organization from old and new sources?
Vertica is an advanced unified analytics warehouse, architected to address the most demanding Big Data Analytics initiatives.
Vertica’s SQL Data Warehouse is trusted by the world’s leading data-driven companies, including Cerner, The Trade Desk, Intuit, Uber, and more to deliver speed, scale, and reliability on mission-critical analytics. Vertica combines the power of a high-performance, massively parallel processing SQL query engine with advanced analytics and machine learning so you can unlock the true potential of your data with no limits and no compromises.
Vertica integrates with popular commercial and open source tools to fit seamlessly into your existing data infrastructure, accelerating analytic insights and machine learning projects so you can transform your data into a competitive advantage.
Cohesity
Want to better manage your secondary data?
The Cohesity solution available through HPE Complete, provides a converged web-scale data management platform that consolidates all secondary workloads, including storage and data services onto one unified, efficient solution. The majority of enterprise data consists of secondary data: backups, files, objects, test copies, and analytics data. It is fragmented across a patchwork of appliances, which typically include deduplication, backup servers, filers, and data lakes. Managing secondary storage is complex with data copied and stored across silos which results in excessive cost of ownership. This solution simplifies data protection, consolidates file and object services, provides instant access to test/dev copies, and supports in-place search and analytics. This converged platform coupled with HPE ProLiant platforms provides a holistic solution that advances user operations, enhances reliability and radically reduces cost and complexity.
Arxscan Arxview
As storage environments get larger and more complex, the IT manager has a more difficult time understanding their environment. This makes them reluctant to invest further in their infrastructure.
By using the Arxscan Arxview Software, the IT manager proactively recognizes when and what additional infrastructure investments are needed. Arxscan Arxview Software delivered through the HPE Complete program brings the information needed to analyze and report on the data center together in one light-weight, inexpensive, and easy-to-use solution that lets you know where you stand. Meaningful and feature-rich reporting also drives the power to provide up-to-date information in both high-level management views and detailed administrator grids on virtually every storage metric.
Smartoptics
Do you have data center Fibre Channel (FC) or Ethernet interconnect issues?
The Smartoptics solution available through Hewlett Packard Enterprise, offers a unique solution to extend SAN networks between data centers by connecting Fibre channel and Ethernet switches over optical fibres in a cost-efficient way.
Smartoptics DWDM Transceivers are certified for Brocade SAN switches and are housed in the SAN switch (embedded DWDM). Multiplexing and distance extension is done in a simple Open Line System. Short distance applications multiplexing can be done in a simple passive DWDM filter. The solution can transport most services available today between the data centers, such as 1/10/100G Ethernet, 4/8/16/32G FC, and SONET/SDH. Most of these features are unique to the Smartoptics solution.
