Aruba Mobility Controller Virtual Appliances
Aruba Virtual Mobility Controller (VMC) is deployed as a Virtual Machine and runs on ArubaOS 8. It provides a flexible deployment alternative to hardware mobility controllers (72xx and 7xxx). This virtual controller also provides plenty of capacity and speed for BYOD and IEEE 802.11ac devices for both campus or branch deployments.
VMC can be deployed as standalone or managed by the Aruba Mobility Master where it can support up to 100K users. A VMC deployment can benefit customers from operational cost savings as it can reside with other VMs sharing the same existing virtualization infrastructure.
Aruba Hardware Mobility Conductor Series
Work environments are transforming to digital workplaces, with billions of mobile workers using their mobile devices for business critical services. Mobility, IoT and business critical applications are enabling these workers to be more productive and efficient, but at the same time driving up the demands on the network. To enable an always-on network with the desired performance and user experience, enterprises must deliver an intelligent WLAN with advanced technologies to be more predictive, enable always-on connectivity, and improve network efficiency. The Aruba Mobility Master Controller is the next generation of master controller that can be either deployed as a virtual machine (VM) or installed on an x86-based hardware appliance. The Mobility Master provides better user experience, flexible deployment, simplified operations and enhanced performance.
Aruba 7200 Series Mobility Controllers
Aruba 7200 Series Mobility Controllers enhance WLAN performance for high density enterprise requirements in large and midsize campuses. The Aruba 7200 Series centralizes control functionality for individual Aruba access points (APs) in order to improve AP utilization and client roaming. It can also be repurposed as an SD-WAN gateway for optimized WAN connectivity.
The Aruba 7200 Series serves a key role in Dynamic Segmentation. Aruba’s Policy Enforcement Firewall (PEF) enforces policies based on user role, device type, application, and network location for improved management and security of the wired and wireless access layers. The Aruba 7200 Series runs ArubaOS and provides up to 100 Gbps of throughput for up to 32,728 concurrent users, 2,048 access points, and over 2 million active firewall sessions.
