Installation and Startup Service provides a set of features associated with deployment of your licensed HPE StoreOnce Recovery Manager
Central software products into operation. With the assistance of your designated IT storage administrator, an HPE service specialist deploys
your HPE StoreOnce Recovery Manager Central software as more fully described in this document.
This is a one-day service and provides a limited implementation to help you get HPE Recovery Manager Central Software up and running quickly and to provide a demonstration of the product’s key features using sample or test data only.
This service is applicable only to supported environments. Scripting is not within the scope of the service, but can be accommodated at additional charge (scripting can help enable integration and end-to-end automation within your organization’s environment).
HPE Implementation of SAN Solution SVC
HPE SAN Deployment service provides installation and configuration of your storage area network (SAN). Hewlett Packard Enterprise offers three service levels based on the size and complexity of your SAN environment.
HPE SAN Deployment Service covers a comprehensive complement of technologies, including Fibre Channel (FC), Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE), Fibre Channel over IP (FCIP), FICON (Fibre Channel for HPE XP Storage Array-based mainframe storage), and iSCSI or serial-attached SCSI (SAS), for switches and associated devices. This service implements a new single-fabric or dual-fabric SAN or extends an existing SAN but does not include configuration of arrays or storage devices that are covered by their own corresponding deployment services.
HPE Installation and Startup SimpliVity 380 for VMware Remote SW Service
HPE SimpliVity 380 Remote Deployment Service ensures the successful implementation of your HPE SimpliVity 380 hyper converged infrastructure. Our remote experts will guide you through every step of the process to jumpstart your investment, support your IT staff, and accelerate time-to-value. This service provides planning, service deployment, installation verification testing (IVT), and an orientation session to facilitate deployment of the features and functionality of an HPE SimpliVity 380 product as more fully described in the Service features table.
HPE Installation and Startup SimpliVity 380 for VMware Onsite SW Service
HPE SimpliVity 380 Onsite Software Installation and Startup Service ensures the successful implementation of your HPE SimpliVity 380 hyperconverged infrastructure. Our on-site experts will install and configure your HPE SimpliVity 380 software to jumpstart your investment, support your IT staff, and accelerate time-to-value. This service provides planning, service deployment, installation verification testing (IVT), and an orientation session to facilitate deployment of the features and functionality of an HPE SimpliVity 380 product as more fully described in the Service features table.
HPE Installation and Startup SimpliVity 380 Update_Service
HPE SimpliVity Software and Firmware Update Service ensures the successful update of your HPE SimpliVity appliance and Legacy SimpliVity infrastructure. Our remote or on-site experts will guide you through every step of the process accelerate time-to-value. This service provides planning, service deployment, installation verification testing (IVT), and an orientation session to facilitate deployment of the features and functionality of an HPE SimpliVity product as more fully described in the Service Features table on page 2.
HPE Installation and Startup for Virtual Connect Enterprise Manager
The HPE Installation and Startup for HPE Virtual Connect Enterprise Manager (VCEM) provides for the installation and configuration of Virtual Connect Enterprise Manager on one central management server (CMS). This service includes a pre-installation review to validate that the VCEM prerequisites have been met, installation and configuration of the VCEM software on the CMS, configuration of up to four unique Virtual Connect profile templates, the importation of two HPE BladeSystem c-Class enclosures (Virtual Connect domains) into the VCEM management application, and creation of one Virtual Connect domain group. This service also includes an orientation session that demonstrates key features of VCEM.
For enterprise-wide implementations of VCEM, HPE can implement Virtual Connect Enterprise Manager as a custom service as specified in a custom Statement of Work (SOW).
HPE Installation and Startup for VMware Vsphere Essentials/Standard
HPE Installation and Startup Service for VMware vSphere provides a preinstallation session with a Hewlett Packard Enterprise service specialist, installation and configuration of VMware vSphere, and an orientation session to help familiarize your organization with the product’s functionality.

vSphere is available in three packages:
• Package 1: VMware vSphere Essentials, Essentials Plus, or Standard Installation and Startup
• Package 2: VMware vSphere Enterprise Plus Installation and Startup
• Package 3: VMware vSphere custom installation—a Statement of Work (SOW)–based service that may include environment assessments, virtualization consulting, or custom installation and startup
Each service package includes a scheduled meeting with the Hewlett Packard Enterprise service specialist to prepare for the installation and deployment of the software package, configuration of the software, and a customer orientation session.
