With the assistance of your designated IT storage administrator, an HPE service specialist deploys your HPE Primera Base software as more fully described in the Service features table.
Deployment of Remote Copy, Peer Persistence, Peer Motion, Cluster Extension, Online Import, Recovery Manager Central, and Smart SAN for HPE Primera products are excluded from this service.

For HPE Primera Virtual Copy, this service provides a limited implementation to help you get Virtual Copy up and running quickly and to provide a demonstration of the product’s key features using sample or test data only. The following advanced deliverables are excluded from this service but are available via the HPE Data Replication Solution Service for HPE Primera Virtual Copy software:
• Implementation and testing of the HPE Primera Virtual Copy software configuration using production volumes or a production application
• Other services that address the unique requirements of your organization, such as verification of multiple applications you have configured; scripting; or integration and configuration of your applications by Hewlett Packard Enterprise, backup environment, or databases (scripting can help enable integration and end-to-end automation within your organization’s environment)

Designed to provide a smooth startup, HPE 3PAR StoreServ 8000, 9000, and 20000 Storage Installation and Startup Service provides deployment of your HPE 3PAR StoreServ 8000, 9000, and 20000 Storage, helping to ensure proper installation in your storage environment as well as helping you increase the benefit from your storage investment.
The service provides activities required to help you deploy your HPE 3PAR StoreServ 8000, 9000, and 20000 Storage into operation. With the assistance of your designated IT storage administrator, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise service specialist deploys your array as more fully described in the Service features table.
When ordered with hardware upgrade products, the service also provides deployment of hardware upgrades to your existing HPE 3PAR StoreServ 8000, 9000, and 20000 Storage.
The service includes the following:
For new arrays, configuration and presentation of a test virtual volume using nonproduction data for up to two hosts
For array upgrades, installation and configuration of the array upgrade products as further detailed in the following sections
Reconfiguration of your existing array—for example, virtual volumes, hosts, or a SAN—is outside the scope of this service.
For installation of the array into a rack, supply, assembly, configuration, and positioning of the rack are excluded from this service. Please refer to additional exclusions in the Service limitations section.

Designed to provide a smooth startup, HPE 3PAR StoreServ 8000, 9000, and 20000 Storage Installation and Startup Service provides deployment of your HPE 3PAR StoreServ 8000, 9000, and 20000 Storage, helping to ensure proper installation in your storage environment as well as helping you increase the benefit from your storage investment.
The service provides activities required to help you deploy your HPE 3PAR StoreServ 8000, 9000, and 20000 Storage into operation. With the assistance of your designated IT storage administrator, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise service specialist deploys your array as more fully described in the Service features table.

HPE Installation and Startup HPN Top of Rack Service
HPE Installation and Startup Service for HPE Networking Top of Rack (ToR) switching products coordinates the installation, configuration, and verification and is designed to get your new HPE networking device quickly up and running and connected to your network infrastructure.
This service is available for select HPE switching products. With this service, you will also receive a brief orientation session on the product features installed.
The device configuration, final verification tests and orientation session for this service are delivered remotely. On-site delivery of these items may be available in some geographic locations and may result in additional charges. Please contact your local HPE representative for details. Please also refer to the Service Limitations section below for more details.
HPE Installation and Startup Synergy Grow Config SVC
HPE Synergy Installation and Startup Services is comprised of four basic fixed-price, fixed-scope installation, and deployment services for your HPE Synergy 12000 Frame(s):
- HPE Synergy First Frame Installation and Startup Service provides installation and deployment service for your initial Synergy 12000 Frame and the initial HPE OneView Management Ring configuration.
- HPE Synergy Additional Frame Installation and Startup Service provides installation and deployment service for a single additional Synergy 12000 Frame in your environment; purchase additional instances of this service along with HPE Synergy First Frame.
HPE Synergy Grow Configuration Service provides installation and configuration of one HPE Synergy 12000 Frame to be added to an existing Synergy environment.
HPE Synergy Additional Management Ring Configuration Service provides installation of one HPE Synergy 12000 Frame and configuration of one additional HPE OneView Management Ring beyond the first.
For each new frame beyond the first, purchase HPE Synergy Additional Frame Installation and Startup Service.
For multiframe orders, the Additional Frame Installation and Startup Service must be purchased for each frame beyond the first and will be delivered by Hewlett Packard Enterprise at the same time as the First Frame Installation and Startup, Grow Configuration, or Additional Management Ring Configuration Service described above. This service should be ordered on a per-frame basis to add installation and deployment for any additional frames and associated modules in it to be added to the same HPE OneView Management Ring that is to be configured with the First Frame Installation and Startup, Grow Configuration, or Additional Management Ring Configuration Service.
HPE Installation and Startup Apollo 20 SVC
HPE Apollo Installation and Startup provides for the installation of your new eligible HPE Apollo system, along with the installation of one eligible operating system (or verification of one factory installed operating system) and the basic configuration of the operating system network parameters to establish network connectivity as more fully described below. This service is designed to assist you in bringing your new HPE Apollo System and operating system into operation in a timely and professional manner.
