Need remote access to servers and other serial managed devices in the rack?
HPE Enterprise Serial Console Servers provide remote access to headless servers such as those running Linux or UNIX, as well as serial managed devices such as network switches and routers. Available options support either 16 or 48 devices through a single IP address using any SSH or telnet client. With its powerful user access control and streamline management from the Virtual Media option, the HPE Serial Console Server grants access to specified users or even implements Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) directory authentication while allowing servers to access storage media. Security for servers is controlled by user names, passwords, access rights configured and stored in non-volatile memory in the Serial Console Server for up to 64 users or through RADIUS. The HPE Serial Console Servers offer the security, flexibility, and efficiency that meets the needs of the most demanding IT environments.

Do you need consolidated server access, management, and control for desktop and rack-mount environments?
The ATEN G2 Standard Series Analog KVM Switch for HPE offers a cost-effective solution. Target device selection is easy with 3 options: port selection through push-buttons on the switch, hotkey combinations from the keyboard, or a menu-driven on-screen display. This switch easily connects servers with KVM consoles such as the HPE LCD8500 1U Rackmount Console kit, or other monitor, keyboard, and mouse configurations.
The ATEN G2 switch combines multi-platform OS support with a selection of models featuring up to 16 ports and tiering support for up to 256 devices. This switch features two-level password security for authorized users to view and control connected devices, while supporting 4 user profiles and an administrator profile. All ATEN G2 KVM Switch models are backed by HPE Foundation Care extensions, which match the server’s warranty and service levels at no additional cost.
Do you need rack level power monitoring over the network?
With billing grade accuracy, HPE G2 Metered Power Distribution Units (PDU) are an excellent choice for data centers wanting to make the most of circuit capacity or for co-location facilities needing to precisely track power usage for billing purposes.
The G2 Metered PDUs offer load segment power metering and have a low profile single piece design with multiple mounting options and ease of access to rear devices for maintenance. Designed for HPE racks but also work in a large variety of third party racks as well using standard button and keyhole mounting. They can be installed on either side of the rack with outlets facing the back of the rack for easy access and improved clearance. Also for higher power density they can be installed side by side on both sides of the rack with the outlets facing in towards the center of the rack. HPE G2 Metered PDUs are backed by HPE's limited 3-year warranty.
Is your IT power demand scaling faster than your cooling capacity? The HPE Adaptive Rack Cooling system allows for increased computing power without adding to the heat load in the data center. Using a closed-loop, room-agnostic design, the HPE Adaptive Rack Cooling system is capable of cooling fully populated racks, even with top bin processors. The horizontal airflow of the HPE Adaptive Rack Cooling system fully supports industry-standard front-to-back cooling designs and standard server dimensions. Additionally, the implementation of variable speed fans within the system, enables improved energy efficiencies by providing the right volume of airflow to all devices, regardless of the mounting position or workload. By increasing power density without the need for extensive cooling upgrades, the HPE Adaptive Rack Cooling system can economically extend the life of the data center.
Need a console with the latest in KVM technology to manage the servers in your rack? Knowledge is power – know what’s going on right at the rack with HPE KVM.
HPE KVM Console Kits provides high-performance display panel and keyboard with touch pad in a 1U form factor. The 1U rackmount form factor allows for a KVM console switch to be mounted directly behind it. The HPE LCD8500 with 18.5-inch WXGA TFT LCD Brightview display supports most common video resolutions, up to 1600 x 1200 at 60 to 75 Hz refresh rates.
The LCD8500 features a silver enclosure making identification in the rack easier. The integrated keyboard includes a three-button touch pad with four (4) scroll keys and Windows shortcut keys. Also included, is a new Lid Switch display management feature that shuts off the display backlight when the console is closed and repowers to its current state when opened again, helping to prolong the life of the display panel.
