HPE Customer Support Technical Assistance Day Service is available for all Hewlett Packard Enterprise supported products.
This service does not include installation and deployment-related activities, which are part of a separate service, HPE Installation & Deployment Assistance Day Service.
HPE Resource Services is your source for project management, software and hardware technical specialists, IT service management (ITSM), and business critical consultancy to assist you in meeting your project or technical goals. There are multiple resources available that can be combined to meet the unique needs of your organization:
• HPE project management resources provide administrative assistance, disciplined project methodology, and a single point of contact for your IT project needs.
• HPE hardware technical resources provide customized proactive hardware support, such as assisting with your hardware deployment, moves, configuration, or upgrade plans, to meet the specific needs of your organization and provide complementary assistance on the installed system.
• HPE software technical resources provide customized proactive assistance and support for HPE-supported software installation, configuration, and upgrades.
• HPE technical resources can provide advices and/or services related to customer environment, hardware, system infrastructure software, and virtualized environment, including technical performance and capacity assessment.
• HPE Technical Consultant resources can provide advices and/or services in the areas of availability, security, and performance, and deliver guidance intended to help maintain your high-availability environment.
All of these services are delivered by highly skilled and trained professionals from HPE.
HPE Apollo Installation and Startup provides for the installation of your new eligible HPE Apollo system, along with the installation of one eligible operating system (or verification of one factory installed operating system) and the basic configuration of the operating system network parameters to establish network connectivity as more fully described below. This service is designed to assist you in bringing your new HPE Apollo System and operating system into operation in a timely and professional manner.
HPE Apollo Installation and Startup provides for the installation of your new eligible HPE Apollo system, along with the installation of one eligible operating system (or verification of one factory installed operating system) and the basic configuration of the operating system network parameters to establish network connectivity as more fully described below. This service is designed to assist you in bringing your new HPE Apollo System and operating system into operation in a timely and professional manner.
HPE Synergy Installation and Startup Services is comprised of four basic fixed-price, fixed-scope installation, and deployment services for your HPE Synergy 12000 Frame(s):
- HPE Synergy First Frame Installation and Startup Service provides installation and deployment service for your initial Synergy 12000 Frame and the initial HPE OneView Management Ring configuration.
- HPE Synergy Additional Frame Installation and Startup Service provides installation and deployment service for a single additional Synergy 12000 Frame in your environment; purchase additional instances of this service along with HPE Synergy First Frame.
HPE Synergy Grow Configuration Service provides installation and configuration of one HPE Synergy 12000 Frame to be added to an existing Synergy environment.
HPE Synergy Additional Management Ring Configuration Service provides installation of one HPE Synergy 12000 Frame and configuration of one additional HPE OneView Management Ring beyond the first.
For each new frame beyond the first, purchase HPE Synergy Additional Frame Installation and Startup Service.
For multiframe orders, the Additional Frame Installation and Startup Service must be purchased for each frame beyond the first and will be delivered by Hewlett Packard Enterprise at the same time as the First Frame Installation and Startup, Grow Configuration, or Additional Management Ring Configuration Service described above. This service should be ordered on a per-frame basis to add installation and deployment for any additional frames and associated modules in it to be added to the same HPE OneView Management Ring that is to be configured with the First Frame Installation and Startup, Grow Configuration, or Additional Management Ring Configuration Service.
Designed to provide a smooth startup, HPE 3PAR StoreServ 8000, 9000, and 20000 Storage Installation and Startup Service provides deployment of your HPE 3PAR StoreServ 8000, 9000, and 20000 Storage, helping to ensure proper installation in your storage environment as well as helping you increase the benefit from your storage investment.
The service provides activities required to help you deploy your HPE 3PAR StoreServ 8000, 9000, and 20000 Storage into operation. With the assistance of your designated IT storage administrator, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise service specialist deploys your array as more fully described in the Service features table.
When ordered with hardware upgrade products, the service also provides deployment of hardware upgrades to your existing HPE 3PAR StoreServ 8000, 9000, and 20000 Storage.
The service includes the following:
For new arrays, configuration and presentation of a test virtual volume using nonproduction data for up to two hosts
For array upgrades, installation and configuration of the array upgrade products as further detailed in the following sections
Reconfiguration of your existing array—for example, virtual volumes, hosts, or a SAN—is outside the scope of this service.
For installation of the array into a rack, supply, assembly, configuration, and positioning of the rack are excluded from this service. Please refer to additional exclusions in the Service limitations section.
Designed to provide a smooth startup, the HPE StoreVirtual 3000 System Installation, Startup, and Add-On Service provides deployment of your HPE StoreVirtual 3000 System, ensuring proper installation in your storage environment as it helps you increase the benefit from your storage investment.
The service provides activities required to help you deploy your HPE StoreVirtual 3000 System into operation. With the assistance of your designated IT storage administrator, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise service specialist deploys your storage product as more fully described in the ‘Service features’ table below.
When ordered with hardware upgrade products, this service also provides deployment of hardware upgrades to your existing HPE StoreVirtual 3000 System. The service includes the following:

The HPE Installation Service is part of a suite of HPE deployment services that are designed to give you the peace of mind that comes from knowing your HPE and HPE-supported products have been installed by a Hewlett Packard Enterprise specialist in accordance with the manufacturer’s product documentation.
