When acquired with deployment and integration services, the HPE ProLiant Server Premier Solutions and Integrated Systems for Azure Local can be confidently and rapidly deployed optionally with the available Azure Local–compliant HPE Aruba Networking and HPE Networking Comware switches.
HPE ProLiant Server Premier Solutions and Integrated Systems for Azure Local include specialized support helping ensure cases are opened directly with subject matter experts who, through an HPE joint support agreement, have the ability to open cases directly with Microsoft when necessary.
HPE Standard Solution Builder Extension (SBE), exclusive to HPE ProLiant Server Premier Solutions and Integrated Systems for Azure Local, are used to deploy HPE server component firmware and drivers using Microsoft's update service in the same manner as Azure Local solution updates are deployed.
HPE ProLiant Server Premier Solutions and Integrated Systems for Azure Local are tested at least twice annually, in accordance with Microsoft policies, and alongside Azure Local feature update releases.
HPE ProLiant Compute Server Premier Solutions for Azure Local
Premier Solutions for Azure Local built on HPE ProLiant Compute are offered on the DL380 Gen12, DL360 Gen12 and the DL380 Gen11 platforms.
DL380 2U servers are optimized for the data center and larger edge locations when high I/O requirements exist and/or optional GPUs are required.
DL360 1U servers are optimized for data centers and edge locations, especially when rack space is constrained and GPUs are not required.
The curated list of options includes a wide selection of Intel® Xeon® CPUs (4th and 5th generation in Gen11 and 6th generation in Gen12), memory, storage, network adapters, and GPUs.
Premier Solutions for Azure Local are entitled to exclusive features not available to platforms in other Azure Local tiers such as Azure Local disconnected operations and Microsoft 365 Local.

The curated list of options includes a selection of AMD EPYC™ Siena generation power-efficient CPUs, memory, NVMe Enterprise and Data Center Standard Form Factor (EDSFF) storage, network adapters, and GPUs.
The edge-focused design of the HPE ProLiant DL145 Gen11 includes a small footprint, under-desk or wall-mounting options, wide thermal variance, and tunable acoustics.
Azure Local with Microsoft Windows Server 2025 OEM License
Optional OEM licensing provides a perpetual license at a fixed cost, without subscription payments, for Azure Local per-core fees and Windows Server 2025 guests, which can be acquired at the time of purchase (only).
Optional OEM licensing is exclusive to HPE ProLiant Server Premier Solutions and Integrated Systems for Azure Local. Licenses are sold on a per-core basis, starting at 16 cores.
