The access points leverage standards-based L2TPv3 technology to tunnel traffic to and from Juniper Mist Edge for selected WLANs. This capability gives you the network design flexibility to leverage a combination of distributed and centralized data planes, where needed, to meet your requirements.
Access Assurance Proxy
Juniper Mist Edge with Access Assurance Proxy is a secure authentication gateway that proxies Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) through RadSec tunnels between third-party network devices and the Juniper Mist Edge cloud, enabling cloud-driven access policies and device authentication across non-Juniper infrastructure.
It centralizes and scales policy enforcement while streamlining identity management and boosting visibility for stronger security and operational efficiency.
