HPE Cray XD2000
Do you need a density-optimized, scale-out compute system to meet changing demands of your workloads in HPC and enterprise data centers? The HPE Cray XD2000 system is a shared infrastructure chassis with up to four HPE Cray XD220v servers (Intel®) or four HPE Cray XD225v servers, or two HPE Cray XD295v servers (AMD). Each of the servers can be serviced without impacting operation of other servers in the same chassis, increasing system up-time. HPE Cray XD2000 system offers a complete, scalable solution for HPC customers, with power and cooling options, including direct liquid cooling (DLC), giving greater performance while lowering TCO. Built with exascale era-ready networking, integrated storage, extensive software portfolio, management tools, and proven expertise, HPE Cray XD2000 systems can enable customers to supercharge innovation and prepare for tomorrow’s challenges. It’s supercomputing at your scale. Let us help you evolve at exascale speed.

Key Features
Purpose-Built Supercomputing Solution
The HPE Cray XD2000 system delivers a complete supercomputing solution from chassis to rack scale with exascale-ready technologies such as HPE Slingshot, InfiniBand NDR, HPE Cray Programming Environment (CPE), HPC optimization tools, and HPE MPI.
Expanded power capability with up to 9600W of power in one 2U chassis delivering N+N or N+1 power redundancy.
HPC-optimized options from NVMe SSDs to HPC memory to many different types of PDU options, from managed to switchable, and higher amperage.
Increase your power density and achieve energy efficiency with a DLC system that is plug and play at your data center. Pre-filled and ready to connect to facility water. DLC is fully integrated, installed, and supported.
Increase Performance and Reduce Cost
Accelerate your time to value by improving the performance of the HPE Cray XD2000 system with the latest top-bin CPU from 4th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors, including the Intel Max Series or 4th Generation AMD EPYC 9004 Series processors up to 128 cores.
Achieve further energy efficiency and save data center operating costs by adding the HPE Rear Door Heat Exchanger (RDHX) or Adaptive Rack Cooling System (ARCS) to HPE Cray XD DLC system.
The all self-contained in-rack DLC infrastructure solution removes need to build secondary fluid network in the data center, and the HPE factory integration and testing model provides fast and non-disruptive deployment, without long and expensive third-party integrators on-site.
HPE Cray XD2000’s dense, multi-server platform allows for reduced fabrics cost and space cost in the datacenter, leading to overall lower total cost of ownership (TCO) compared to traditional 1U or 2U rack-mount servers.
Flexible Scale-Out Building Blocks
The HPE Cray XD2000 system can be deployed with a single chassis and a server and more compute can be added and scaled as customer's needs grow.
The HPE Cray XD2000 provides right-sized building blocks, scaling to thousands of servers as business needs evolve.
The HPE Cray XD2000 provides 1U server option (XD220v or XD225v) and 2U server option (XD295v), and a flexible set of other options, including GPUs, networking cards, and more.
HPE Cray XD Manageability and Security
HPE Cray XD incorporates industry-standard BIOS and BMC components including the support of industry-standard DMTF Redfish to better aid in heterogenous management control solutions.
HPE Cray XD BMC includes hardware root of trust with recovery solution incorporating a validated firmware signature chain of trust, conforming to NIST standards, ensuring firmware that’s not compromised. Automated recovery restores firmware to last known good state if code is compromised.
With a focus on HPC and AI workloads with HPE Cray XD, HPE Performance Cluster Manager (HPCM) will provide automated provisioning, monitoring, HPE remote support, and firmware updates for all HPE Cray XD2000 systems.
