The HPE Storage Switch M-series SN3420M is a data center switch offering a 1U 48-port 25GbE SFP28 + 12-port 100GbE QSFP28 connectivity.

Each switch delivers forty-eight SFP28 25GbE ports and also twelve 100GbE ports, that may be further split into forty-eight 1, 10, or 25GbE ports, twelve 40GbE ports, or twenty-four 50GbE ports.

Each switch delivers data rates from 1GbE to 100GbE (1, 10, 25, 40, 50, 100GbE) providing future-proofing for connectivity options.

Superior Performance with Future-proof Growth

The HPE Storage Switch M-series SN3420M delivers predictable and consistent throughput (3.58Bpps) regardless of the packet size being transferred, the mixture of ports that are sending data, and even within mixed-speed environments.

It provides wire-rate performance with zero packet loss across frame sizes, avoiding any negative impact on applications that could occur with frame loss as unexpected packet loss is unacceptable in modern data centers, especially within a storage network.

The HPE Storage Switch M-series SN3420M provides a flexible combination of ports, allowing great flexibility and efficiency, simplifying scale-out environments, and saving on total cost of ownership (TCO).

Enhanced port configuration enables high-speed rack connectivity to the server at 1/10GbE or 25GbE speeds with 100GbE uplink ports that allow for a variety of blocking ratios that suit specific application requirements.
