HPE Edge Center enables an integrated solution based on a complete software-defined architecture with integrations to traditional virtualization and container platforms. Create holistic edge solutions with compute, network, storage, facilities, and edge management software.

The complete solution includes a software architecture known as software defined facilities (SDF) accelerator, which is built utilizing data center infrastructure management (DCIM), Intel® DCM, and Schneider Electric StruxureWare DCO/DCE.

HPE OneView provides an integrated automated IT management environment for ease of management. The SDF accelerator bundle comes with a free OneView connector allowing for uni-directional pull of data into StruxureWare providing a single operator console.

Each unit includes facilities infrastructure, remote outlet switching, remote UPS/CRAC power management, integrated security, leak detection, fire suppression, and detection for a turnkey solution.

Next generation software-defined facilities provides edge automation via workload protection and emergency shutdown capability, which is an industry first.
