It provides up to 2.5 Tbps of switching capacity with redundant power and fans combined with HPE Aruba Networking Virtual Switching Extension (VSX) for a high availability solution ideal for enterprise campus and data center deployments. The CX 8320 also serves as a top of rack (ToR) switch for data centers needing 10GbE connectivity to servers and 40GbE to the spine.
The CX 8320 is based on HPE Aruba Networking CX Switch Operating System (AOS-CX), a modern, database‑driven operating system that automates and simplifies many critical and complex network tasks. A built‑in time series database enables customers and developers to utilize software scripts for historical troubleshooting, as well as analysis of past trends. This helps predict and avoid future problems due to scale, security, and performance bottlenecks.
